Come experience the journey of this ancient river that gave rise to many communities, dwellings, lush green forests, Fields of plenty, the finest silks and cotton weaves, Bountiful plains, and rich, prosperous Kingdoms that beamed with flourishing arts, kinds of literature, and above all, the History that has been left behind for the future to praise the past.
Artistic Director Janani Narayanan conceptualizes this thematic work with her senior dancing students to the original score for this thematic presentation. Experience along with us as we call her Tarangini The ancient river, as we take you through from times mythology stories to the ancient settlers of Deccan, to present political cries to the medieval glory of her banks, and finally to witness the prosperity of, from the Sangam Age of BC.
